About PhonePlus Callback

Ever been in a meeting or in a rush or in a tough spot in traffic  or on a call, when the
phone rang with an important call? Well now you don’t have to rush out of the meeting
(or stop what you’re doing ) to take the call just to say “I’m busy right now, I’ll call you
right back”. And you don’t need to ignore the call and let the caller wonder why you’re
not  taking their call. With PhonePlus Callback, with just the touch of a button, you can
let the caller know you saw their call and will call them back asap, as well as set
yourself a reminder to call the person back. Better still, you can set it up so the phone
autoreplies by itself when you miss or reject a call.

PhonePlus Callback gives you complete control with options for Full Automatic or Full
Manual and three Autoreply modes, as well as Do Not Disturb.

In Automatic mode, one click on an incoming call (on Android) sets the callback
reminder, and sends a will-call text message to the caller if their number is a mobile
number in your contacts, or sends an email if the caller’s has an email address in your
contacts. On BlackBerry, you reject or miss the call first, then the app kicks in.

In Manual mode, you will be presented with up to three buttons on an incoming call:
  • Will Call Later: Press this to just set a reminder for yourself but send no msg to
    the caller
  • Text: Press this set a reminder and send the caller a text message. Note that the
color of the tText button is significant in this mode. Green means the caller is a
mobile number in your Contacts. Red means it’s a landline in Contacts. Yellow
means the number is not in your Contacts and may or may not be a mobile#.
  • Email: You will only see this button if the caller has an email address in your
Contacts. Press this button to set a reminder and send an email.

Autoreply mode: In the three Autoreply modes - when a call is missed, rejected or both
- the phone will automagically send a will call message of your choice that you can pre-
setup. So if you're driving for example, you can choose to not answer the call, or look at
the caller ID and reject it, and the caller will get a will-call message immediately and you
will get a reminder to call them back later.

Do Not Disturb: When DND is turned on, the phone will not ring when a call comes in.
Instead the call will be sent to voicemail AND the caller will automatically be sent one of
many customizable messages based on your settings. This is great for meetings, or
drives, or sleep time, where you don't want to be disturbed but also want to let the
caller know why you can't take their call at the moment.

Additional DND options on BlackBerry: On OS 4.7 & 5.0, there are additional DND
options available:
  • DND All: Send all calls to voicemail
  • DND Unknown callers: Send only calls from those not in your address book to VM
  • Block All: Drop all calls, do not send them to VM
  • Block Unknown: Block only unknown callers

SMS/Email Preference: Some people are heavy SMS users and prefer to respond via
SMS, while others prefer Email. The app lets you choose which you prefer, and also lets
you Force Send SMS to even those who are not in contacts. Force Send SMS and SMS
Preferred are available on all platforms, while Email Preferred is available now on
BlackBerry OS 4.7 & 5.0, and coming soon to all other versions and platforms.

On BlackBerry OS 5.0 the app also provides a
heads-up display of your options for the
call on the Incoming Call screen even while the call is ringing. On Android, you can fully
interact with the app while the call is ringing, including Accept/Reject the call using new
on-screen buttons we provide.

In all modes, when you are reminded about a callback, you can choose to Call right from
the reminder or choose to Snooze or Dismiss. You won’t miss a reminder even if your
phone is locked and in your pocket, because it will do a short vibrate as well as an
audible tone.
